Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991) was also known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly called Travi$ Scott), a rapper, singer and songwriter, as well as record producer hailing from the United States. The stage name he uses is the name of a favorite uncle and the first name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration. Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records in 2012, along with an agreement to publish with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. 's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full length album, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) was released in the year 2013 by self-release.
