He went viral in 2017 after his "counting to 100,000" video earned hundreds of thousands of views in just a couple of days. He has grown in popularity ever since, with the majority of his videos receiving hundreds of millions of views.Over time the style of his content expanded to include donation and challenge videos that award millions of dollars, video involving difficult challenges or tasks as well as original video vlogs. Donaldson employed his childhood pals to help run the brand as it grew.
