Abigale Miller bio

Abigale Lee Mills (born on the 21st of September 1965) was a American dance instructor, choreographer, and reality TV host. Abby Lee Dance Company was created by her. It aired on eight seasons of Dance Moms. Miller pleaded guilty in June of 2016 to criminal bankruptcy fraud. Miller was sentenced on June 27 the 27th of June, 2016 to a year, one day , in federal prison. Miller was released on March 27, 2018. In April of 2018 she was diagnosed with lymphoma. the type of cancer that made her unable to walk. She uses a wheelchair for mobility. Miller was born in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. She was a dancer who learned from her mother at Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. In 1980, at age 14 years old, Miller was given the responsibility to choreograph and coach one of the dance teams of her mother. Miller assumed control of the studio and changed its name to Reign Dance Productions in 1995. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America and was a member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter #10 in 1986, but her membership was terminated in February 2012 in the wake of DMA declaring that Miller's reality show Dance Moms was "a total deflection of our dance educators as well as their students. It is detrimental to the dance profession."
